Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl at AT&T Park in San Francisco brought the Nevada Wildcats vs. Boston College Eagles together in one of the more exciting bowl games of the season, enjoyed by a capacity crowd. BRANDed TRAY was chosen as the exclusive vendor to supply sponsored food and beverage serving trays to reinforce the 10 Kraft brands that participated, and distribute their product samples to fans throughout the venueIn 2010.

Kraft started a season long battle against hunger with their Huddle to Fight Hunger program, to give the monetary equivalent of 20 million meals to Feeding America (nation’s largest hunger relief agency) to secure meals on behalf of local food banks. Kraft recruited help from football legend Joe Montana, sports announcer Erin Andrews, and celebrity chefs Pat and Gina Neely, who were introduced at the game.

At the Fight Hunger Bowl, the sponsored BRANDedTRAYs and samples were everywhere, using the local San Francisco Giants teams colors, and created a sea of orange and black Kraft brand imagery throughout the crowd.

Kraft has worked on sports sponsorship programs with BRANDed TRAY before, most notably during the NCAA March Madness Men’s & Women’s college basketball tournaments, and at college football games with teams such as Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, UCLA, Kentucky, Texas, Tennessee, and more.

BRANDed TRAY distributed over 1.4 million product samples for Kraft brands during the past year – overall, Jim Lowe (VP, Marketing Director/Wheat Cracker Division of Kraft) notes that their Wheat Thins product gave away more than  5 million samples in 2010, and the brand has had month-over-month increase in both revenue and market share for each of the last six months.
